Senior Clinician – Suzanne Cox
Suzanne established Edge Rehabilitation in 2007 and has worked in a clinical role since that time undertaking case management, return to work services, ergonomic workstation assessments and medicolegal reporting. Suzanne is responsible for recruitment, training and clinical supervision of staff, as well as the operational requirements of running a small business.
Sue has been involved with the Masters of Rehabilitation course at the Australian Catholic University as a guest lecturer and workshop facilitator within their Chronic Disease and Disability unit, and Inter-professional Practice module.
Over the course of her career, Suzanne has held a senior management role with a Queensland Compulsory Third Party insurer, undertaking operational responsibility for and recruitment of rehabilitation staff, technical and catastrophic claims consultants and departmental investigators. She has also undertaken the role of Business Manager within a large national rehabilitation and employment services provider, with responsibilities including recruitment, budgeting, training and policy development. Suzanne has a first class honours degree in Physiotherapy and has worked in a hands on physiotherapy role in public hospitals and private practice both in Australia and overseas. She is a current member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
